National Police Legacy Day lunch

National Police Legacy Day lunch

Tuesday 17th June, 12PM

Every day, police officers across Australia dedicate their lives to protecting our communities. But behind every badge is a family, and when tragedy strikes, SA Police Legacy steps in to ensure that no police family is ever left behind. National Police Legacy Day is a new and significant initiative, bringing together all state and territory Police Legacies to raise awareness for the vital support we provide to police families.

Enjoy a delicious two course lunch paired with a refreshing drinks package, all set against the backdrop of one of Adelaide’s most iconic venues. This year’s theme, Mindset Matters, dives deep into resilience, growth, and the power of perspective. You’ll hear an inspiring and moving story from police legatee and former police officer Peter Shanahan, as he opens up about navigating grief and the role mindset has played in his journey. Then, gain expert insight from John Mannion - CEO of Breakthrough Mental Health Foundation and former SA Mental Health Commissioner - as he explores the power of mindset in shaping wellbeing.
