National Police Legacy Day Lunch 2026
Honouring South Australian police families
National Police Legacy Day is a significant initiative that brings together Police Legacy organisations from every state and territory to recognise, support, and raise awareness of the vital care they provide to police families. In South Australia, this important day will be marked at the annual National Police Legacy Day Lunch, to be held on Tuesday 17 June at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
This year’s lunch centres on the theme strength when the unthinkable happens. We are honoured to welcome Police Commissioner Grant Stevens APM LEM who will share deeply personal reflections on how he found strength following the profound loss of his son Charlie a day after a South Australian police officer was killed on duty.
